Robin and Dogwood

20140505-125846.jpg

I don’t feel much like committing to any particular subject or design today, so I’m just doodling. The little mama robin outside my kitchen window remains constant, and the tree blooms are rapidly opening this week. Everything has it’s own time, and I feel like painting just as organically at the moment.

This sketch is composed of light ink outlining and a playful watercolor wash over it, wet on wet.

    1. Hi Pamela! Thanks a bunch 🙂 It’s good to just paint to paint sometimes for no reason. You can surprise yourself. On the other hand it can end up in the trash, but at least you learned something haha.
